Godiva: Vegan Chocolate Packaging
In a fantasy world, I’ve designed a line of exclusive vegan chocolate bars for the historic chocolatier brand Godiva. As a vegan myself, this project was really special to conceptualize. I decided to create intricate digital art as a focal point for the packaging, following the concept of ‘Extraordinary Encounters’.
The first bar in the collection is a chocolate with caramel and sea salt, to which I attributed the concept of ‘Treasure’. This collection is inspired by the concept of encountering a well-designed, thoughtful vegan product in the wild, and how it feels like a true discovery and gift.

The second bar is a chocolate with matcha and lemon flavouring, to which I attributed the concept of ‘Apparition’.
To revel in the original concept, I though creating scenes of somewhat surreal or magical realism would be the key to making something eye-catching and original.

The third and final bar I designed, for the coconut milk and cinnamon flavor, tells the tale of coming accross a ‘Creature’ in the woods, but it’s only startling, not evil!
This trilogy concludes here but is absolutely open to future encounters - as many as the mind can muster.
The overall collection will be held in a soft touch cardboard box which continues on the same aesthetic as the bars, using the individual designs almost as screenshots of a movie, donning the tagline ‘Finding the perfect vegan chocolate is no longer a fantasy’.
As an extra gift with the whole collection a card game is included, which works as a fun look into veganism through jokes and current language that can connect to more youthful audiences.
