Diddo Madrid

Textile Design

Diddo Madrid is a brand I feel a great affinity and connection to, so it was an absolute delight to design their first custom textile prints. I worked hand in hand with the designer Elisa to develop to print stories that reflect her roots - the village in Talavera de la Reina that her family grew up in: the craftmanship and the memories that surround it.

MOODBOARD

We visited the place that inspired the collection and became fascinated with not only the ceramics but also the act of visiting and searching for inspiration itself.

In the first print, which we called symbolic, we dedicated a lot of care to up to the smallest of details, with little nods to Elisa’s roots like the thimble, the grapevines

The second print, more organic and clean, was inspired by the paint strokes of Talavera’s beautiful ceramics.
