El Entreacto
This imaginary theatre festival holds its first edition in homage to three invaluable spanish playwrights of the Spanish Golden Age: Calderón de la Barca, Lope de Vega and Miguel de Cervantes. With a deep investigation into the plays which will be performed during the festival and the symbolism behind them, I created an identity system that would attract an audience perhaps not familiar with classic theatre.

Using intricate vector drawings full of symbolism from the plays, I created a modular system with which I could construct the posters and the general image of the festival. Each element can be used on its own, in different colorways, and still relate back to the overall atmosphere of the festival.
